Angus is acrankybullvillager in theAnimal Crossing series. He first appeared inDoubutsu no Mori e+ and has appeared in all subsequent games. His name derives from the "Aberdeen Angus" breed of cow, hence his Scottish catchphrase. It may also be derived fromangus beef, a brand of cow beef.

InNew Horizons, Angus has the fitnesshobby and will wearsporty shades and lift heavydumbbells while exercising.

Appearance[edit]

Angus inDoubutsu no Mori e+.

Angus is a rusty brown bull that resembles a Hereford cow. He has a white stripe down his nose that gets wider as it nears his tan muzzle. He also has thick eyelashes, some gray hair on his forehead, and big, dark gray horns.

Personality[edit]

Angus has the cranky personality. At first, he is very rude, but when he and theplayer become more friendly toward each other, it is revealed that he is kind, and refers to the player as his "only friend". He may mention that he once dated a girl or two in the past. He also mentions a niece of his that is interested in bug collecting.

InDoubutsu no Mori e+, Angus can only move to the player's town if hise-Reader card is scanned. His card was one of six starter cards bundled with the game, alongsideWalker,Maggie,Rod,Merry, andWillow.
