lovely visuals! my only complaint is that there is a LOT of button mashing, it could probably do with less, at least for the actual fishing bit, as after a few battles, by the time i need to spam in the next fishy duel, i struggle to D:

Incredibly fun, all the SFX, music, and animation effects are spot on!

The gap between the calm part of normal fishing, where you throw in the rod and wait for the fish to hook, and the shocking action battle part after you catch the fish was great!

Although the game took only 10 minutes to complete, it was a very enjoyable experience with a lot of different elements packed into it: the sense of exploration in the early battles, learning the controls, the new gimmick battles with new enemies, and the exciting final boss battle!

I was not expecting such an involved defense mechanic but I adore it!

Wow what a game, even if this is short, this little time was a challenging time. I was so confused what this would be when I pressed X, then suddenly it became an RPG, that was so cool.

Fighting/fishing feels very satisfying, good job with inputs timing. Love the art and music.
