Paraplotes er enslekt avbiller som tilhørerfamiliegruppenbladbiller (Chrysomelidae). Det er kjent 18 arter.[1]
Middelsstore, hvelvede, blanke, røde til svarte bladbiller.Hunnene har forkortede dekkvinger og oppsvulmet bakkropp.
Både larvene og de voksne (imago) er planteetere.
Slekten er utbredt i Asia (nordligeIndia,Nepal,Kina,Taiwan).
