Pray Along with Little Richard Volume 2 var det andre gospelalbumet avLittle Richard og det femte albumet hans totalt, om ein ser bort frå samleplater.
Etter å ha spelt inn dette abumet, kom Richard attende til New York i 1960 for å spele inn den førsterock 'n' roll-songen hans sidan 1957. Han vart akkompagnert av bandet sitt, The Upsetters, og spelte inn to singlar forLittle Star. Bandmedlemmane har sagt dei trudde det var nok songar for eit heilt album, men dette er ikkje blitt stadfesta.[1]
