Stingray Ambush

Stingray Ambush

You are a hungry stingray craving crabs. Time to go feast at this all you can eat buffet! Unfortunetely, the crabs are faster than you, but you are smarter! Dig in the sand to hide until your prey is close by. >:)

Controls:

  • You will always move toward your mouse.
  • Left click and hold to dig yourself under the sand.
  • Keep the your cursor inside the red circle to stay hidden.
  • Stop holding down left click to perform a small sneaky dash and try to catch the crabs by suprise.

Really funny game! And that mechanic of hiding is pretty good! I mean; it's not really easy to hide consistently, but that's good!

Great game to play and sfx audio are good. Gives you the feel of water and what great of killing with shark without covering it with the entire shark. All in all I liked the game.

Super fun, the gameplay is super solid and really creative. It’s so stressful trying to hide from the sharks!

Thanks for playing! I've had a bit of trouble getting players to understand the whole "keep your cursor in the circle part" but other than that I'm really happy with the result. Glad you liked it, and btw, 21 is the highest I've seen in the comments! (I haven't kept track of my own score, most likely nowhere near that high)

I did get confused at the start a bit, but quickly got used to it. It helps that dying and restarting is fast and that you have a small period to adjust before the first shark comes in.

I adore this. The sound and art are so great and I love my little stingray. My high score is 15 crab snacks. 

It took me so many tries to escape the first shark, it takes a surprising amount of concentration to follow the mouse movements.

Thanks for playing! 15 is definetely more than I've been able to get. I've seen some people having issues with understanding the "keeping in circle" part, glad you got it.

this is fun! is there a way to escape the shark or that's just how the game ends?

Also is should I be able to stay hidden under the sand for longer or I only get like 1 second of hiding time?

When hiding a red circle appears, you have to keep your mouse cursor within the circle to stay hidden. Thats how you hide from the shark too. Thanks for playing!
