The Westfalen Group, a 100-year-old family company, operates across Europe focusing on Industrial Gases & Services, Energy Solutions, and Mobility. In 2023, they generated €2.25 billion in sales with over 2,200 employees. Known for their expertise in gases, heating, cooling, and sustainable mobility, Westfalen supports customers in achieving sustainable progress with over 20 production sites and 260 petrol stations.
Goals:

Solution and implementation
Nextview implemented a comprehensive solution set up using best practices, including error handling, logging, and monitoring. Mulesoft Anypoint replaced the existing integration, with a detailed migration strategy ensuring a smooth transition.
A Center for Enablement (C4E) team and processes were established to support ongoing needs. The implementation took four months and required a deep understanding of complex SAP processes, proficiency in Java to understand the software to be replaced, as well as deep technical expertise.
Westfalen's team, including a Technical Architect and experts in SAP, Salesforce, and UAT, was fully involved. They underwent Mulesoft training and certification to manage the new integration landscape effectively. Through training and a thorough handover, Westfalen ended up with a solution they are now fully in control of.
