In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, City of Saratoga offices will be closed on Monday, January 20. A special celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. King will be held that evening, January 20, at 7:00 p.m. at the steps of the Civic Theater, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue. This is a gathering for all ages to honor his call to action for kindness and service. The event is hosted by the Saratoga Ministerial Association. Bring the kids to volunteer beautifying Quarry Park, 22000 Congress Springs Road, with the Parks & Recreation Commission.
👧🏽Volunteers ages 10 to14 can participate with an accompanying and participating adult.
👦🏼Teens ages 15 to 17 can volunteer without an accompanying adult with permission of a guardian on the registration form.
👴🏻Everyone 18+ years is encouraged to join!

💲 Donate to a vetted organization of your choice through National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (National VOAD) atwww.nvoad.org/current-members
✅ Choose a recipient from 70+ National VOAD members. You’ll be directed to that specific organization’s website to choose how your donation will be directed.
🔥 Many members have funds specifically for the wildfire response, such as the American Red Cross, Save the Children US, The Humane Society of the United States, and many more.
