Ukraine has confirmed the strike on the Elektrodetal factory in Russia's Bryansk region, which manufactures products for the Russian military, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukrainereports.

"As part of efforts to reduce the capabilities of the enemy occupation forces, on September 29, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces missile and artillery troops, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, conducted a missile strike with four projectiles on Karachev Plant Elektrodetal JSC," the General Staff said.

The range of the projectiles is over 240 kilometers.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Navy reported that Neptune missiles were used against Elektrodetal.

"At night, our Neptune missile successfully struck the Russian Karachev Elektrodetal plant. One more link in the enemy's supply chain has been eliminated," the statementsays.

According to the General Staff, this factory produces a variety of electrical connectors for military and general industrial use, including low-frequency, high-frequency, and combined connectors.

Its products are used in Russia's aerospace, electronics, instrumentation, and other industries.

"These include connectors for printed circuit boards, military equipment, aircraft, antennas, base stations, and other systems, as well as components for various measuring instruments," the Ukrainian Armed Forces added.

Reports indicate that explosions and a fire occurred on the plant's premises following the strike.

"The results of the strike are being clarified. The Defense Forces continue to take all measures to undermine the military-economic potential of the Russian occupiers and force Russia to end its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff concluded.

The Karachev Elektrodetal plant was attacked on the night of September 29. Explosions on site triggered a fire following the strike.
