Chitwan ends Biratnagar’s winning streak

Chitwan Rhinos ended the three-match winning streak of Biratnagar Kings with a 48-run victory in the NPL 2025 on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: Chitwan Rhinos ended the three-match winning streak of Biratnagar Kings with a 48-run victory in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025 on Wednesday.



In the day-night match played at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Biratnagar, chasing a target of 175 runs, were bowled out for 126 runs in 16.5 overs.

For Chitwan, Ranjit Kumar claimed five wickets, and Kamal Singh Airee took two.


Earlier, after being sent in to bat, Chitwan posted 174 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Ravi Bopara scored a half-century with 65 runs, while Saif Zaib added 32 and Dev Khanal chipped in with 28. Captain Kushal Malla remained unbeaten on 20.


For Biratnagar, captain Sandeep Lamichhane and Merchant de Lange took two wickets each, while Shubham Ranjane picked up one.
