NGC 23 သည် ခရုပတ်ပုံစံ ဂယ်လက်ဆီဖြစ်ပြီး Pegasus ကြယ်စုတန်းတွင် တည်ရှိသည်။
Webb Society Deep-Sky လေ့လာရေး လက်စွဲစာအုပ်တွင်[၃] NGC 23 အား အောက်ပါအတိုင်း ဖော်ပြထားသည်။
Bright, extended ellipse; a bright nuclear structure is noticeably elongated; two weak spiral enhancements emerge from opposite sides of the nucleus, one curving towards a bright star attached on the south end. The galaxy is likely interacting withNGC 9.
