Changelog v0.5.8

Hey guys. Here’s a teeny tiny taste update for what’s to come in Chapter 1 Part 2. I still didn’t do a lot but put a30% addition to the game. There are some changes and fixes once you play it (or so again). I want to reiterate again that v 1.2.0(Overhaul Mode) is coming between Late Spring and Summer. All I did was cut more work off of me and give you guys a chance to experience the game (again and properly this time). I know Mac Users had a rough time with the launch and now you can able to play it without any issues. I playtested it more than millionth times but I got everything nice and clean bugs free.

Here’s what I did:

—Restrict keyboard input (special characters) when you name the MC

—Backgrounds Updated by Val; Some will be used and I forgot to implement an updated version of Outside Dorm because the bus was supposed to be there.

—Some character sprites (my edited expressions) are either scrapped or held on until it’s necessary

—Fixed the Splash screen (it’s now fast)

—It’s a lot lesser size than the original (I tried my best)

—For Mac users, I’ve finally resolved Save/Load issue; It needs the specific font outside of the font folder (a font file in the game folder, not the font folder)

—Some tiny changes to dialogues, certain character’s clothing, and their expressions (more than one person)

—The font is now changed, new colorized text for the characters’ names, and the character’s names are now centered

—A New CG?!

—A brand new presplash (aka loading screen that I made) is now implemented.

—It will be forever now in Ricardo/MC’s POV of telling the story; the narrator is gone

—Implement to skip the prologue (which also gives you bio info from your previous playthrough); basically like a new game+ in a mini version

—The others are now fixed and changed.

Note: The overall writing and choices will be rearranged in v 1.2.0. It won’t be in this update.
