Laksamana Madya (Vice Admiral)Horatio Nelson, Viscount Pertama Nelson,KB (29 September1758 –21 Oktober1805) merupakan laksamana British yang terkenal dengan pembabitannya dalam Perperangan Napoleon, terutamanya dalam Pertempuran Trafalgar, kemenangan mutlak British dalam perperangan di mana dia terbunuh.[1] Nelson dikenali kerana keupayaannya bagi memberi semangat dan menghasilkan yang terbaik bagi orang-orangnya, sehingga pada tahap ia diberi nama: "Sentuhan Nelson". Tindakannya semasa perperangan Laut ini bererti dia dihormati sebelum dan selepas kematiannya sebagaimana sebilangan tokoh tentera sepanjang sejarah British.
