Dashpong releases next week (October 28th) and I’m super excited!

I’m not going to lie, deciding on a release date was not an easy task. I’ve been struggling to work on Dashpong for a few weeks now, and I was starting to hate the game.
During development, I had a lots of ideas for the game. I wanted to add many things, I was really excited. When I decided to release the game, I had to face reality and decide what features should be kept or not.
I don’t want you to buy the game thinking things will be there and then be disappointed because they’re not. Let me get straight to the point:I decided to remove the tournament mode, the solo training mode and AI opponents.
It doesn’t mean they’re gone forever, and for example I know that AI opponents can be really useful, so I’m probably going to work on it for a future update.
At release, you’ll have the classic mode, the arcade mode with all the special modes and a custom mode to select various things: player size, speed, duration, etc.. Of course you can still play up to 4 people and even in asymmetry (2v1 or 3v1).
I have updates planned for Dashpong, with new maps, new game modes, so stay tuned for that!
