Meet Abbie

Abbie Stockard, Miss America 2025, embodies resilience, grace, and service—qualities that resonate deeply with the American spirit. As a senior at Auburn University pursuing a degree in pediatric nursing, she is preparing to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare field, driven by her passion for helping others. A member of Auburn University’s renowned Tiger Paws Dance Team, Abbie exemplifies dedication, teamwork, and the vibrant energy of collegiate athletics that unite communities across the nation. Additionally, she serves as a National Brand Ambassador for Cystic Fibrosis, a cause close to her heart, inspired by the challenges faced by her lifelong best friend. Coupled with her D1 athletic designation for cheerleading, Abbie bridges the worlds of healthcare, advocacy, and athletics, making her an inspiring symbol of unity, hope, and excellence. Her presence at your special event will reinforce the ideals of leadership, compassion, and determination as cornerstones of an American ideals.

We must also invest in the future through innovative CF research—regenerative therapies, treatments for antibiotic resistance, and xenotransplantation—that brings us closer to a cure. As a senior at Auburn University preparing to become a pediatric nurse, I’ve witnessed the emotional and financial toll CF places on families. One mother’s words stay with me: “I constantly ache with worry about my kids’ futures—the emotional, financial, and medical challenges they’ll face as they grow older.” Together, we can ensure that no family feels this weight alone. Let us unite as a nation to champion these families and turn today’s challenges into tomorrow’s triumphs. This is our opportunity to create a brighter, healthier, and more hopeful future for all.

Civics In Motion

As Miss America 2025, I am honored to use my platform to bring hope and inspiration to the over 15 million Americans impacted by cystic fibrosis (CF). While CF directly affects 40,000 individuals, its effects ripple through families, friends, and entire communities. Thanks to groundbreaking treatments like Trikafta, a longer, healthier future is now possible for those with CF. However, access to these life-changing therapies remains a challenge for many families. By supporting initiative that include  telemedicine for rural patients, and ensuring equitable access to specialty drug programs, we can take meaningful steps toward a healthcare system that provides for everyone in need.
