Bike Rider UltraDX - World Tour / Galaxy Tour

Bike Rider UltraDX - World Tour, also known asChariSou Ultra DX - Sekai Tour in Japan, is a racing game available on the Wii U eShop. The game was published by Spicysoft Corp. and released on August 5, 2015 in Japan and November 5, 2015 in Europe. It received a Japan-only sequel on October 14, 2015, calledMinna de Uchū Tour: ChariSou DX 2 (translating toBike Rider UltraDX - Galaxy Tour).

In all racing modes for both games, the player can select one of three character choices, with the third character being a stick figure with their Mii's head on it.

Cake Mania: In the Mix!

Cake Mania: In the Mix! is a Wii simulation game published by Majesco. The game released on November 24, 2008 in North America and July 31, 2009 in Europe.It is the first 3D game in theCake Mania series that follows the bakery business of Jill Evans.

Miis can appear as customers in the bakery for certain stages in the game.

Chess Challenge!

Chess Challenge! is a WiiWare chess game developed by Digital Leisure. The game released on May 10, 2010 in North America and August 6, 2010 in Europe. The game features a 2D and 3D chess board layout.

Mii faces are used as 3D player icons and save data profiles. The player can save data on up to three profiles. In the main menu, the Mii's face tracks the Wii Remote cursor by looking towards it. Miis can be viewed as player icons in single player matches, two player matches, and on WiiConnect24 for online play.

Coaster Creator 3D

Coaster Creator 3D, also known asJet Coaster o Tsukurou! 3D in Japan, is a rollercoaster simulation game released on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. It initially released in North America on February 28, 2013.

Miis are able to ride the rollercoasters the player builds in the coaster editor. Mii characters are given a more simplified, geometric design to fit in with the game's artstyle.

Crazy Machines

Darts Up 3D

Darts Up 3D is a sports game developed by EnjoyUp Games for the Nintendo 3DS. It released on September 5, 2013 in North America and Europe after the release ofSoccer Up 3D. In Japan, the game released on May 7, 2014 under the titleStar*Series: 3D Darts, which was published by Starsign.[1]

Miis can be used as customizable avatars for the player and will appear as a player icon during matches. Miis can also be featured in the background and can be viewed by moving the Nintendo 3DS system.

Dr. Mario World

Dr. Mario World was a free downloadable puzzle game developed for iOS and Andriod devices. It is currently the latest installment in theDr. Mario series, releasing on July 9, 2019.Dr. Mario World used the touchscreen on the mobile devices for moving and rotating the pills to eliminate the viruses. Multiple playable characters from theSuper Mario franchise appeared, and could be unlocked with in-game currency. The game was discontinued on November 1, 2021.

Miis can be used as optional save data icons to replace Dr. Mario when connecting a Nintendo Account with a registered Mii to the game.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D is a Nintendo 3DS remake of the first installment in theDragon Quest Monsters series, a spin-off of the role-playing game seriesDragon Quest. Miis can only be used in this game via multiplayer battles and StreetPass. Miis also have their own bodies distinct from the standard protagonists, which changes per gender and present height scaling.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key is Nintendo 3DS remake ofDragon Quest Monsters 2 for the Game Boy Color. Like the previous game, Miis can only be used in multiplayer battles and StreetPass. Unlike the first game, Miis use the same bodies as the protagonists of the game, and can even wear their outfits.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 is an entry in theDragon Quest Monsters series and the third installment of theDragon Quest Monsters: Joker sub-series. An expanded version of the game titledDragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Professional, also featuring Miis, was released a year after its launch. Like the previous games, Mii characters can only be used in multiplayer battles and StreetPass. The game adds a monster riding feature and a new competitive multiplayer mini-game is included called "Great Riders Cup". Like the 3DS remake of the firstDragon Quest Monsters game, Miis have a distinct body from the standard protagonists, thought it no longer has height scaling and both genders retain the same body.


ExerBeat

ExerBeat is a rhythm and exercise video game developed by Namco Bandai Games. The game released in May 2011 for the Wii in North America, Europe, and Australia.

Miis are used as profile icons in the game, which are displayed at the bottom of the screen alongside the points gained during each exercise. Miis can also appear as background characters and audience members during specific stages.

Family & Friends Party

Family & Friends Party is a minigame collection game released on WiiWare. The game released on March 2, 2009 in North America and April 10, 2009 in European regions.

Miis are used as profile icons that represent playable characters. Miis can be optionally selected to replace the original characters from the game, with the game supporting up to 4 players.

Funfair Party Games

Funfair Party Games is a party game developed by Avanquest Software for the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The game released on August 22, 2013 in North America and Europe, while Europe received a physical release on August 30, 2013. The game supports StreetPass and SpotPass functionality.

The user's Mii and name will appear in the upper left corner on the bottom screen while at the ticket counter and browsing the party games. Their Mii will appear standing on a podium with a body during the results for each minigame. While the Mii's body stands in place and moves slightly, their head is completely stationary. When playing the game in multiplayer, more Miis are able to stand on the podium during the minigame results.

Ghost Mansion Party

Ghost Mansion Party is a party game developed by Gameloft for WiiWare. The game released on August 25, 2009 in Japan, October 26, 2009 in North America, and October 30, 2009 in Europe. It is often compared to theMario Party series and features all 4 players moving in a pumpkin vehicle at the same time. Multiple mechanics featured inGhost Mansion Party were introduced to theMario Party series throughMario Party 9 in 2012.

Miis from the user's console can appear as background characters in the haunted mansion board. They can usually be seen standing in place, wandering around, or looking at unique decorations in the mansion unless a ghost appears and scares them away. A new Mii will only appear once the players view a different location, with all of them appearing in set spawn locations. Miis can also appear in haunted picture frames and can play the piano in the Bedroom, but are not featured in any minigames.

Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai (also known as初音ミク and Future Stars Project mirai) is a rhythm game developed by Sega for the Nintendo 3DS. It is a spin-off of theHatsune Miku: Project DIVA series and later received a sequel titledHatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2. It also received an expansion titledHatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX, both games feature an unused model for Miis that is present in the first game.

In the AR mode for the game, the player can scanAR Cards that were bundled with the game. The game comes with six character cards based on the vocaloids and nine additional cards. By pressing they button, the player's Mii will be added in alongside the vocaloid. In this mode, they can resize, reposition, and pose both the vocaloid and their Mii. Frames can be added to the scene, and the player can take a photo that will be saved to the system data or SD card. Once unlocking all costumes in the game, the player will be able to use their Mii as a character card with the ? AR Card and watch them perform certain PVs (promotional videos) from the game through the AR mode.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is a third-person shooter created by Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of the Kirby andSuper Smash Bros. series. It released for the Nintendo 3DS in March of 2012, with its initial release on March 22, 2012 in Japan.

Weapon Gems can be obtained throughStreetPass by passing other 3DS users andSpotPass by receiving gifts from Nintendo. For SpotPass Weapon Gems from Nintendo, the game instead labels the gems as being sent by the goddessPalutena. She is represented by a Mii, similar to users interacting through StreetPass, except her Mii is given green hair that was not available on the Nintendo 3DS Mii Maker. SpotPass has since been discontinued, making this Mii unable to be viewed in-game. In the game's settings, the player can change their profile, with the menu icon represented by the Wii promotional MiiMii-chan.

Marble Saga: Kororinpa

Marble Saga: Kororinpa (also known asMarbles! Balance Challenge in Europe andKororinpa 2: Anthony to Kiniro Himawari no Tane in Japan) is a marble video game where the player controls the marble as it rolls through levels. The game released on the Wii in 2009, and is a sequel toKororinpa, known asKororinpa: Marble Mania in North America. The game supports the use of theWii Balance Board accessory. A follow-up for the Nintendo 3DS was planned but ultimately canceled.[4]

When customizing their marble, the player can insert their own Mii into a marble for use in levels. In order to unlock this feature, the player must complete the seventh and last area of the game, Stump Temple, on at least normal difficulty. The Mii is called a "Figure Roller" and features the player's Mii inside a ball, which can be customized further. The player can also enter a cheat code in the cheats section to unlock the Mii customization. [citation needed]

Mario Kart World

Mario Kart World is a racing game in theMario Kart series for theNintendo Switch 2. The game was released on June 5, 2025 as a launch title for the console.

Similarly toMario Kart 8 andMario Kart 8 Deluxe, names for Wii U CPU Miis are used for staff ghosts in the Time Trials mode, each name beginning with the prefix "Nin★". Unlike in the previous entry, the nationality of the staff ghost is not stated. There are 30 unique Mii names used in Time Trials. Names for official Miis were also featured during the online gameplay section in the Mario Kart World Direct, which premiered on April 17, 2025.[5] Aside from this, the game does not contain Miis in any playable role, making it the first console entry in theMario Kart series to not feature Miis after their introduction inMario Kart Wii.

Mario Party: Island Tour

Mario Party: Island Tour is a handheld entry in theMario Party series for the Nintendo 3DS. The game released on November 22, 2013 in North America, January 2014 in PAL regions, and March 20, 2014 in Japan.

Pokémon Rumble Rush

Pokémon Rumble Rush (ポケモンスクランブルSPPokémon Rumble SP in Japan) was the fifth and final game in thePokémon Rumble series. It initially released on May 15, 2019 in Australia for Android devices, which later released worldwide for Android on May 22, 2019 and for iOS on July 23, 2019. The game was discontinued on July 22, 2020.[6]

Potpourrii is a puzzle game released for WiiWare on September 15, 2008 in North America and October 10, 2008 in Europe. The game features a canon on a track around the center where the player attempts to match three of the same spirit types based on the seasons.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix

Rhythm Heaven Megamix (リズム天国 ザ・ベスト+, Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+), also known asRhythm Paradise Megamix in Europe, andRhythm Sesang: The Best Plus (리듬 세상 더 베스트 플러스, Rhythm World: The Best Plus) in Korea, is the fourth game (third outside of Japan) in theRhythm Heaven series. It released for the Nintendo 3DS on June 11, 2015 in Japan and 2016 in North America, Europe, Australia, and South Korea.

The player's Mii appears in the game'sIntroduction, which serves as the tutorial. The player has to hit a drum a few times, after which two more drummers randomly selected by the console'sMii Maker will come into view. The player is then introduced to using visual cues to play. Once the player has attempted to match the other Miis 3 times, music will begin playing to introduce using audio cues. At the end, the game will introduce a Skill Star, and challenge the player to get it. The Introduction reappears as the penultimate game in theFinal Remix.

Ring Fit Adventure is an exercise RPG released for the Nintendo Switch on October 18, 2019 worldwide. The game features similar elements to theWii Fit series, and comes bundled with a pilates ring that serves as the controller.

During the explanation for Multitask Mode, and how players can send presents to their friends over the internet, an user icon depictingSarah is used to represent the the recipient. Additionally, when deciding which user should receive the bonus, the icon is reused on the "Gift to a friend" option.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D is a construction and management simulation game and the first entry in theRollerCoaster Tycoon series released for a portable system. It released for theNintendo 3DS on October 16, 2012 in North America and October 26, 2012 in Europe and Australia.

Miis are used asStreetPass icons and online multiplayer icons when inviting friends to a player's park.

Samba de Amigo

Samba de Amigo is a rhythm game released for the Wii in 2008. The game is a remake ofSamba de Amigo released on arcades and the Sega Dreamcast. It features a new control method based on the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, 23 new songs, and Miis as background characters.

Miis are used as a save icon and profile icon (used to differentiate different players) and can be saved on six different profiles. During gameplay, the Mii selected for the profile will appear next to the score swaying their head to the beat of the music. The Mii's facial expression will change to be smiling with their eyes closed when the player reaches a B rank or above. The player's Mii will also appear as a background character that dances with the music alongside another Mii randomly selected by the game. If the player reaches an A rank, all background characters and performers will be transported to a rainbow void as they continue dancing, including Miis.

Shin Sangoku Musou VS

Shin Sangoku Musou VS (also known as真・三國無双 VS, Shin Sangoku Musou Versus) is a hack and slash game in theDynasty Warriors series. It released for the Nintendo 3DS exclusively in Japan on April 26, 2012. Releases for North America and Europe were planned but ultimately canceled.

If the player's warriors are running low on health or have a disadvantage during battle, there is a chance for a Mii to spawn in the battlefield and gift the player Mii items.[7] There are three Mii items the player can receive. The Elephant Doll transforms the current warrior into an invincible elephant for a short amount of time. Flying Stones will spawn a barrage of giant boulders that smash nearby grounded enemies. The Imperial Seal will recall all warriors on the battlefield back to the player's current location. Once the player uses the item, the Mii used as support will not appear for the rest of the battle.

The player's Mii icon is used for multiplayer VS Mode matches, and is also used to display messages sent to other players.

Simple Wii Series Vol. 1: The Minna De Kart Race

Simple Wii Series Vol. 1: The Minna De Kart Race (SIMPLE Wiiシリーズ Vol.1 THE みんなでカート・レース) is a racing video game released in Japan on October 25, 2007 for theWii. It is the first entry in theSimple Wii Series with six entries exclusive to Japan. The game features original characters with a grand prix, time attack, and minigame modes.

There are five total minigames and four minigames that revolve around the player collecting the faces of Mii characters. If there are no Miis registered to the console, one of theGuest Miis faces will be used instead. The first minigame has the player collect all of the coins with a Mii face on them spread out on the track. The second minigame has the player collect tiles with the Mii's default expression. If they collect a tile with a modified expression of the Mii, they will lose points. The third minigame has the player collect Mii coins, Mii tiles, and Mii balloons within the 2-minute time limit. A silver and gold coin is worth 3 points, a balloon is worth 5-6 points, and a tilw is worth 20 points. If the player drives into an obstacle, they will lose points, with more points being lost depending on the speed of the collision. The fourth minigame also features coins with Mii faces on them. All minigames revolve around obtaining the high score in points earned.

Additionally, an unused Mii face texture can be found in the game's files. Due to the size and positioning of Mii parts, it is likely this was used during testing to fit every possible Mii design into the coins, balloons, and tiles.

Sonic Colors

Miis are playable in the co-op feature ofSonic Colors. In the "Game Land" zone, they can use all of Sonic and the Virtual Hedgehog's powers and can use the Wisps powers. Their appearance is the same as the selected Mii, same head and arm shape but with Sonic's upper body and shoes. The voice when selected a color Wisp remains the same. Same as with Virtual Hedgehog, should one jump on the Mii's head, they will become dazed. A Mii can also be the icon on the player's saved file.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

Miis return in theWii U andNintendo 3DS versions ofSonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. They drive the Super Zoomer, which is modeled after the logo from the Sega arcade gameOutRun, except with the paint job of the Mii's favorite color. Miis are unlocked in the Wii U version by completing the first GP circuit on any difficulty, which also unlocks the mirror GP circuit.

For the 3DS they are unlocked by clearing all Mirror GPs. In the Wii U version, the player is restricted to their personal Mii while in the 3DS version the player can pick from any Mii on the console and from some Quest Miis. In Download Play on the 3DS the Miis are used by the players receiving the game.

Sonic Generations

Miis make a cameo appearance in theNintendo 3DS version ofSonic Generations as a Profile Card. They can also be seen through StreetPass, a feature that allowed you to make a wireless, local connection to other devices to share certain data, such as profile cards or items in select games. They also appear as Wi-Fi icons.

Sonic Lost World

Miis cameo in theNintendo 3DS version ofSonic Lost World, reprising their roles as icons for the player's Profile Card. These are seen during online multiplayer matches and can even be traded via StreetPass. In theWii U version, players pick which Mii icon they wish to display during the Versus mode.

Sorcery Blade

Splatoon is a third-person shooter developed by Nintendo EAD Group No. 2, exclusively for Wii U. The game released on May 28, 2015 in Japan, May 29 in North America and Europe and May 30 in Australia. The game received two sequels on Nintendo Switch, the first being titledSplatoon 2, which released on July 21, 2017 worldwide. This was followed bySplatoon 3, which released on September 9, 2022 worldwide.

When either game is offline, the names of various Wii U CPU Miis are used for the accounts of theInklings andOctolings found throughout the hub areas, each with their own unique stats and points. Additionally, in the original game, Miis are used as player icons for the online leaderboards.

Storybook Workshop

Storybook Workshop is an interactive storybook game for the Wii. The game was published by Konami and released exclusively in North America on December 1, 2009.

Miis are featured as profile options for the "listener(s)" in the game. They can also optionally be added to replace certain roles in select stories. In the trailer forStorybook Workshop, a Mii based onGuest C with blonde hair instead of brown hair is featured as the only Mii profile.

Super Mario 3D World /Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury

Super Mario 3D World is a 3D action platforming game in theSuper Mario series, developed by Nintendo EAD Tokyo for the Wii U. The game was released on November 21, 2013 in Japan, November 22 in North America, November 29 in Europe and November 30 in Australia.

An enhanced port of the game,Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, was released for Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2021 worldwide, as part of the35th anniversary of theSuper Mario series.

Ghost Miis were ghost representatives of players fromMiiverse. They woreSprixie Princess costumes in their favorite color and up to three could be raced against. Upon Miiverse being shutdown on November 7 2017, Ghost Miis no longer appear in the game. Although the Miiverse functionality was removed in the Nintendo Switch, the model for the Sprixie Princess costume can still be found inside the game's files.[8]

Super Mario Run

Super Mario Run is a 2D platform auto runner game released for mobile devices, and is the second Nintendo game created for mobile. The game released on December 15, 2016 for iOS and March 22, 2017 for Android.

Miis are used as player icons inToad Rally,Remix 10, and the Friends list. The player's Mii can be transferred over from an existingMy Nintendo account. In an event prior to their first mobile game's shutdown,Miitomo clothes could be worn by the player's Mii from April 25th, 2017 until its closure on May 9, 2018.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a fighting game and the third game in theSuper Smash Bros. series. It released for the Wii in 2008. Although Miis were considered to be included as playable characters, the directorMasahiro Sakurai felt at the time that it would be unfit for them to be punching and kicking.[9] However, they were later included as playable characters in all futureSuper Smash Bros. titles starting withSuper Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

In the game, Miis could only be seen as customizable icons in theFriend Roster. When adding a friend code through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, a registered friend would be added to the Friend Roster. Afterwards, the player could select an icon for their friend, with icons of Miis from their system memory being at the bottom of the list. The icons feature a full view of the Mii's face and a light background based on the Mii's favorite color. While Miis do not physically appear otherwise, several music tracks from Mii-related games are featured. One of these music tracks includes the "Opening Theme (Wii Sports)", later titled "Opening Theme / Select (Wii Sports)" inSuper Smash Bros. 4, a medley of the opening jingle fromBoxing, the main theme that plays on the title screen, and the main menu fromWii Sports. The other music track is "Charge! (Wii Play)", a song used in theCharge! minigame fromWii Play. Lastly, "Mii Channel", a remix of theMii Channel theme. All of these songs can be played on thePictoChat stage, and return in laterSuper Smash Bros. entries.[10]

The Mii used for Little Guy

Trauma Team is a medical simulation game, and currently the fifth and final game in theTrauma Center series. It released for the Wii on May 18, 2010 in North America and June 17, 2010 in Japan.

When using the computer in Naomi's office, the player has Hint Cards with information on them related to a person's death. By grabbing the Hint Cards with thea button andb button, they can be analyzed by Navel, referred to as "Little Guy" and "the investigator". Unlike other characters in the game, Little Guy is given a Mii icon to represent his appearance. Analyzing spots on corpses will create more Hint Cards, which can be given to Little Guy. He will analyze the cards and ask follow-up questions to the player so they can fuse cards or add additional information to the card. He first appears during the case Unexpected Reunion.

WarioWare: D.I.Y.

Two9-Volt microgames are based onShooting Range fromWii Play andTightrope Walk fromWii Fit. In the microgame "Tightrope", the player taps on theWii Balance Board icon to balance a Mii on a tightrope, similar to theBalance Game. A Mii with black hair wearing a green shirt is featured on the tightrope, with Mii outlines in the building. In the microgame "Shooting", A Mii with black hair is featured in the bottom left corner, with the objective being to shoot all the balloons before they drift away.

Additionally, on the game's official Japanese website, players were once able to download microgames that were created by various famous people, known asBig Name Games. Each microgame creator was given their own profile picture, often depicting a sketch or photo of the person. The profile icon forNintendo DREAM editor "Rifua" depicts what appears to be their own personal Mii, complete with the "Nintendo DREAM" logo.

WarioWare Gold

Miis are displayed on the file select screen. Additionally, the player's selected Mii appears in the "Tomodachi Life" microgame, which is based onthe Nintendo 3DS game of the same name.

WarioWare: Move It!

A Mii makes an appearance in the microgame "Wii Play: Motion Pose Mii Plus", based on theWii Play: Motionminigame of the same name. Here, the player has to match two poses to win the microgame.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?: 2nd Edition

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?: 2nd Edition is a video game based on the game showWho Wants To Be A Millionaire?. The game released on Nintendo DS and Wii on November 28, 2008 exclusively in Europe.

Miis are used as profile icons that appear during gameplay in the top right corner of the screen. When "asking the audience" for their thoughts, a crowd of original Miis will be shown with a poll of their answers displayed to the side. When selecting the "phone-a-friend" option, three unique Miis with different names and ages will appear on screen. The Miis also have a unique stats for their specialty subject, intelligence, and decisiveness. When the player selects a Mii, the other two Miis will act sad before the selected Mii suggests an answer to the player. Chris Tarrant, the game's host, also directly mentions the ability to play as a Mii during the game's intro.

Word Puzzles by POWGI

Word Puzzles by POWGI is a educational puzzle game developed by Lightwood Game for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. The game released on February 11, 2016 in North America, January 29 in Australia and January 28 in Europe.

By using anyamiibo figure or card, players can generate a puzzle based on the name of the assigned Mii, along with the amiibo's own nickname. Each amiibo puzzle can only be solved once.

Yosuke Ide no Kenkou Mahjong DSi

Yosuke Ide no Kenkou Mahjong DSi is a mahjong game released on February 25, 2009 for DSiWare.

Miis are used for save icons as well as acting as a representation for the player character (CPU do not use Miis, instead using a different type of character). LikeTomodachi Collection andPersonal Trainer: Walking, the game includes a built-inMii Maker, despite being a Nintendo DSi game. Also like those games, Miis can be imported from theWii as well. Players can also play online matches with players from the Wii gameYakuman Wii: Ide Yosuke no Kenkou Mahjong.
