Wii Fit U is a 2013 exercise game released by Nintendo for theWii U. It is an expanded version ofWii Fit Plus and is the last game in theWii Fit series.
Activities

Wii Fit U contains most of theactivities fromWii Fit Plus, as well as additional ones. It also introduces the Dance exercises, which focus on movement involving specific parts of the body.

Returning activities
The following games have returned from the previous entriesWii Fit andWii Fit Plus. While a majority of exercises remained in all three games, some of the exercises have been removed fromWii Fit U. Games that received "Plus" versions introduced inWii Fit Plus have been combined and consolidated into one exercise as an additional difficulty option. These games includeBasic Run Plus,Table Tilt Plus, andBalance Bubble Plus.

Multiplayer
The multiplayer mode returns fromWii Fit Plus where the players can take turns using the controllers. The only activity that was removed from the multiplayer mode wasObstacle Course, which was instead replaced byUltimate Obstacle Course. The multiplayer consists of three Aerobic Exercises and eleven Balance Games.

Updates
Ver. 1.1.0
An update was released on November 12, 2013.[1] The following changes were made:
- A bug regarding theWii Fit andWii Fit Plus data transfer was fixed.
- Fixed a bug that changed data measured on the Fit Meter when transferring the data to the game.
Ver. 1.2.0
An update was released on March 13, 2014.[1] The following changes were made:
- Fit Meter data can be accessed immediately from the Fit Meter transfer menu.
- Fit Meter activity can be posted to Miiverse from the main menu.
- On theFit Bank screen, players can display their consumed calories upon transferring data from the Fit Meter.
- Fixed a bug where Fit Meter Challenge data would be miscalculated if transferred when the date changes.
Ver. 1.3.0
An update was released on June 9, 2014, which the director Hiroshi Matsunaga announced onMiiverse.[1][2] The following changes were made:
- Data from the Fit Meter can be transferred on the main menu.
- The Fit Meter can display changes in the altitude on the graph.
- Added twelve new courses in the Fit Meter Challenge mode for the Walking Challenge and Climbing Challenge / Altitude Challenge.
- The new Walking Challenge courses take place in multiple unique countries that the player can explore and learn historical information pertaining to the country.
- The new Climbing Challenge / Altitude Challenge courses contain additional historical mountains and buildings found worldwide.
- Twelve Mii costumes can be unlocked by completing the twelve new challenge courses.
- Switching between routines in the My Routines mode has been automated, no longer requiring a controller to proceed to the next exercise.
- Showcases individual dates for changes in weight instead of an average weight change every month on the graph screen.
- When setting a goal to "maintain current status", the previous goal will be the next target goal.
- Miiverse posts with images appear more frequently.

The staff credits forWii Fit U can be viewed in the settings. In the credits sequence, manyCPU Miis introduced on the Wii U appear acting out a different exercise in the game, wearing the outfit that corresponds to the exercise. The player can zoom in and zoom out during the credits. When the credits conclude, theWii Balance Board waves to the camera. At the end of the credits, the trademark note "Hula Hoop® and the Hula Hoop logo are registered trademarks of WHAM-O, Inc. All Rights Reserved" appears.
