ThePark is a section of the island in theTomodachi Life series. It first appeared as a hidden location inTomodachi Collection, where it can only be visited as a potential location for a Mii toconfess their love. InTomodachi Life, it is unlocked after a Mii confesses their love to another Mii for the first time, at the same time as theCafé andAmusement Park. It serves as a place forMiis to hang out and its main feature is a small hill in the center which contains a bench and a large tree, with a footpath that curves around the area. Miis visiting the park can sit on the bench, set up a picnic blanket on the hill, jog along the path, or just lay down on the grass. At night, the lamp posts around the park will light up and illuminate it.

The park is a possible location for Miis to confess their love, and it is implied the park is also the location where the firework show takes place during proposals. Miis with thebubble blower orsoccer ball gifts can be seen using them at the park.

Events

Flying disk

The flying disk event takes place from 8 to 9 am every morning at the park. Two Miis will participate in the game along with the player, where the player is the first one given the disk and can throw it to one of the other Miis by sliding and flicking it on the touch screen. The Mii that the disk is closest to will walk over to intercept it if it is not a direct throw, and if the disk hits the ground, the Mii will run over to pick it up. Once a Mii has the disk, they will randomly throw it to either the player or the other participating Mii. Occasionally before their throw, the Mii with the disk will pull off a "special technique" by naming the throw and throwing the disk with a pose, though this will not affect the speed or trajectory of the toss.

If the player and one of the participating Miis toss the disk between each other repeatedly, the Mii left out will begin angrily gesturing to themself and voice their displeasure.

Afternoon market

The afternoon market is the second of the daily markets, and runs from 12 to 2:30 pm. A Mii will be sitting on a blanket, selling a randomclothing item of a specific color for half of its regular sale price. Like with the other markets, the Mii will occasionally give comments to advertise their goods, such as saying that they "look good on anybody" or that they're made of all-natural materials. Buying from the market can also get the player a bonusgood along with their purchase.

BBQ

The BBQ is held immediately after the afternoon market, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. During the event, one Mii tends to a barbecue grill while three others gather around it with plates and skewers of meat to eat from. The Mii grilling will hold a pair of tongs and occasionally comment on the process or what they like to grill, while the other Miis will comment on how good the food is. From time to time, smoke will blow from the grill into the face of one of the Miis, which can be cleared from the player blowing into the system's microphone. If the smoke is not cleared quickly, the Mii affected will try to wave away the smoke, and the other Miis will express pity. If not dealt with, the smoke will either clear up on its own or move to another Mii. Miis exposed to smoke for long enough will gradually have their faces turn black.

Photo shoot

The photo shoot is held from 4 to 5 pm, where one Mii serves as the photographer with a tripod camera and another assists by holding a reflector for the camera. The photographer will notice the player and ask to take their photo, then gives them direction on how to pose for the camera. They can ask the player to give a certain expression, tilt their head, or look toward a specific spot. The photographer will give multiple different directions over the course of the shoot, and several photos will be taken with the front-facing camera. By the end of the shoot, one of these photos will be shown to the player, which can be saved to the system.

As a confession location

Miis can choose toconfess their love to another Mii at the park. When confessing, the Mii being confessed to will walk up the stone steps towards the park bench in the center. If a Mii interrupts the confession, they will appear on the park walkway and run towards the other Miis. If a second Mii interrupts the confession, they will appear on the park walkway even farther from the center, and will run towards the other Miis.
