- This article is about the type ofWii Fit user, and should not be confused with the child of two Mii's inTomodachi Life andTomodachi Life: Living the Dream, which are also calledbabies.

A baby is a specific user category in theWii Fit series, introduced inWii Fit Plus. This classification is automatically applied to any user whose birth date is less than three years from the date their profile is created.InWii Fit Plus, babies function similarly topets and have limited interaction options. InWii Fit U, babies are more distinct, as they occupy one of the 12 standard user slots rather than being grouped with pets. However, a baby profile cannot be used in "Trial" mode, which requires a minimum age of three.
Once a baby's third birthday has passed, they will be given the opportunity to turn into a normal user by the Balance Board. If they decide to stay a baby, they will be told

Differences from standard Users
Unlike standard users, baby profiles are restricted from the following features:
- Body Tests: They cannot perform Body Tests or individual Balance Tests.
- Training: They cannot participate in any Training activities; selecting one will trigger the message, "You 're too young for this!"|Wii Balance Board}}
- My Wii Fit Plus: Access to this personalized menu is disabled.
Security: They cannot set a password for their profile.
- Fit Meter: They are ineligible to use or sync data with aFit Meter.
