ClearType Text Tuner is a tool made forWindows 7 to increase the visibility of the font for certain users such as the elderly or hard-of-sight. The interface allows the user to choose which font looks best for him or her and picks and chooses based on a series of survey-like questions. Each font is presented in a Latin sentence and the common sentence: The quick, brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.
ClearType Text Tuner also smooths the font on the computer, making it easier to read. It may be accessed through theControl Panel.
Recently, Microsoft has released a Powertool forWindows XP with the same capabilities as ClearType Text Tuner. It is downloadable at Microsoft.
