One system. Multiple applications.

The RoadPod® VP offers the highest level of detail for a permanent traffic survey system. When displayed inATLYST®, VP data effectively reveals traffic patterns and anomalies in your network.

During installation, the piezoelectric sensors require only two shallow and narrow cuts in the pavement. The flexibility and lightness of the piezoelectric strips enable them to comply with a range of road profiles, ensuring durability and reliability.

Proven Accuracy

Piezoelectric sensors installed by certified professionals can ensure accuracy levels of about ±99%. A great alternative to frequently monitoring the same site with tubes.

Robust by Design

With unmatched power efficiency and batteries charged by solar panels, the RoadPod VP is designed for long-term recording in the most remote and harsh environmental conditions.

The Council has installed MetroCount permanent traffic counters at 14 sites across the region. Now, we can see seasonal differences in road network use, such as changes in holiday periods compared to school terms or changes to the road network due to roadworks or new roads opening.
