1. To create a new RfC, type the name of the RfC you want in the below box and click "New Proposal". Make sure you do not use a name that is already taken.
2. Describe the RfC in detail and save the page with the status set todraft if there has not been any discussion of the idea yet.
   • This is encouraged by the RfC Policy; an RfC that skips this step is likely to not go anywhere.

4. If you want to encourage your draft to get feedback before voting, set the status tofeedback
5. Once the idea has been adequately discussed, either on the draft or elsewhere, the status can be set toopen and the request moved to theopen requests section.
