History[]
TheEnterprise at theanomaly.
Some time prior to2261, theEnterprise visitedplanetNibiru. Afterwards, theEnterprise went on a five-year mission.
Onstardate 2261.274, theEnterprise surveyed the pre-warp civilization onKassen V.CaptainJane Tiberia Kirk allowed members of an oppressed species to escape their captors. Afterwards,AdmiralThomas issued new orders from Starfleet Command, and dispatched theEnterprise to investigate a 'lightning storm'-likeanomaly in theCampor system. On stardate 2261.234, theEnterprise was pulled in an unknown region of space by aquantum storm. TheEnterprise encountered anotherUSSEnterprise from a universe that closely paralleled their own, except that everybody was of the opposite gender. Captains Jane T. Kirk andJames T. Kirk and their crews joined forces to return eachEnterprise to its respective realm. (TOS -Parallel Livescomic: "Part 2")
Months later, theEnterprise detected similar readings to the quantum storm but far more powerful. Investigating the ship was drawn into the storm where it saved an alternate version of itself from theIKSChonnaq. (TOS -IDICcomic: "Part 1")
Soon enough, more versions of theEnterprise began to appear in the rift with Kirk soon being hailed by her male counterpart, now in command of theUSSEndeavour. As the quantum energy surged however, both Kirk andEnsignPavlovna Chekov were beamed off the ship. (TOS -IDICcomic: "Part 2")
Kirk appeared onVulcan in a timeline wereNero had destroyedEarth. Chekov sided with a male Kirk on aKhan-ruled Earth. Mister Uhuro arrived on a verdantRisa with a male botanic-based Kirk, a female Captain Spock whose Kirk had died years before, and a male gas-form Scott. (TOS -IDICcomic: "Part 3")
As part of James Kirk's plan to defeatGary Mitchell, he used his newfound powers to return the crew to theEnterprise, making it part of a fleet he had assembled. Upon surrendering his powers, James ordered the fleet to kill him, Jane following his orders. Unwilling to admit defeat, Mitchell reverted everything to as it was before he created the cosmic anomaly, sending theEnterprise back to her reality. (TOS -IDICcomic: "Part 6")
