Biography[]
During theBorg Invasion of 2381,Federation PresidentNanietta Bacco called a summit ofambassadors of various star powers, includingAmbassadorZogozin. Although Zogozin originally voted not to pledge support to Bacco's allied forces, she persuaded him to remind Sozzerozs that the Gorn stood with theFederation Alliance during theDominion War and benefited from the decision, a fact that Zogozin suspected would sway their allegiance. In2383, Sozzerozs attended a conference between theKhitomer Accords powers and theTyphon Pact that was organized by theBoslicTriumvirate of Cort. WhenChancellorMartok arrived at the session, he referred to Sozzerozs as aPetaQ, enraging Sozzerozs. Sozzerozs later welcomedNanietta Bacco's decision to release severalTzenkethi that theUSSEnterprise had detained after theEnterprise interceptedTzenkethi harriers attacking Federation freighters. In 2384, Sozzerozs visitedOrion under orders from theBreen Confederacy'sDomo. His orders were to distract theFederation with fake negotiations regarding Sozzerozs's wish to leave theTyphon Pact. While the Federation was distracted, the Breen would carry out a secret mission, one which would require a failed assassination attempt of President Bacco. As Sozzerozs drew out Bacco and her staff, the Breen made a staged assassination attempt. Unknown to the Gorn, however, a few people would actually be killed. Two of Sozzerozs's personal friends and advisers were hit.NizorSzamra andWazirTogor were hit by a phaser blast. After leaving Orion, Sozzerozs attempted to contactBrex, demanding an explanation. Brex was absent,ThotTran picking up instead. When he demanded an explanation, Sozzerozs was merely told it was necessary. When the call ended, he consulted hisZulta-osolAzarog, who had him contactGozorra, a Gorn who would provide the Federation with intelligence on the Breen.
