In a different permutation of the mirror universe, theEarth Empire pressed on after their victory over the Romulans in theBattle of Cheron in2160. Two weeks later Imperial vessels appeared above Romulus andRemus. The Terrans destroyed Remus withmolecular disassociators, which resulted in tectonic activity on Romulus. The Empire offered Romulus to become a subject world, supplying natural resources,workers andtaxes and receiving moderate changes to their laws to reflect the new affiliation.
