Flight controller

Theflight controller (also referred to asconn) is a crewperson serving aboard aFederationstarship and is assigned the duty of piloting the vessel. During the23rd century, the flight controllers were referred to ashelmsmen. Some of the duties assigned to24th century flight controllers had formerly been performed bynavigators. Flight Control was a playable asset in the customizable disk gameStar Trek: Red Alert!. Activating this disk allowed a special ability to be played.
