Decipher is a company licensed byParamount to produce role playing game (RPG) booklets and accessories forStar Trek since2000. Decipher has also maintained the license for theStar Trek Customizable Card Game since1995, releasing several expansion sets in two separate editions. The Decipher RPG is very similar to the D20 system using d6s rather then the trademark d20. There have been six sourcebooks published by Decipher at this time.

In addition to these published sources, two online sourcebooks have been released. One sourcebook released for theStar Trek RPG wasThrough a Glass, Darkly; the other is theWorlds sourcebook.
