Biography[]

Admiral Whatley ordered the evacuation ofDeep Space 9 in late2372, after theFerengi Alliance declared war onBajor. (DS9novel:The 34th Rule)

AfterOmega Squad illegally travelled toTalos IV, Admiral Whatley was part of the panel that oversaw theircourt martial. (SAcomic: "Judgment")

In2373, Admiral Whatley contactedCaptain Sisko to inform him thatBajor'sFederation membership signing would take place onDeep Space 9 soon. (DS9episode: "Rapture")

By2376, Admiral Whatley had becomeCommandant ofStarfleet Academy. He gaveProfessorMiles O'Brien permission to travel to Deep Space 9 in that year. (DS9novel:Lesser Evil)
