In late 2374,Benjamin Sisko,Miles O'Brien andJulian Bashir used theChaffee to enter theatmosphere of aClass Lplanet to rescueCaptainLisa Cusak. After it was discovered Cusak had been dead for more thanthree years, they brought her body aboard theDefiant using theshuttlecraft. (DS9episode: "The Sound of Her Voice")
