Seamon Glass (26 September1925 –12 July2016; age 90) was the actor who playedBenton in theStar Trek: The Original Seriesfirst season episode "Mudd's Women".
Prior to his role onStar Trek, Glass made several appearances on the television seriesPerry Mason. He made his feature film debut with a small, uncredited appearance inSpartacus (1960, featuringJean Simmons,Peter Brocco,John Hoyt,Arthur Batanides,William Blackburn,Paul Lambert,Vic Perrin, andDick Crockett).
He made small appearances in a number of other films, includingCaptain Newman, M.D. (1963, withJames Gregory andPaul Carr),Slither (1972, withSally Kellerman),Deliverance (1972, withRonny Cox),Winterhawk (1975, withElisha Cook),Harry and Walter Go to New York (1976, withTed Cassidy),Damnation Alley (1977, withPaul Winfield), andThe Rose (1979, withJonathan Banks).
