Nathan Schroeder
Nathan Schroeder is a production illustrator of Hollywood films who worked onStar Trek. Raise in St. Louis, Missouri, Schroeder graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinema Television with a bachelor's degree in Cinema TV production. He later studied Fine Art and Illustration at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
Schroeder began his film career as an art director onMortal Kombat Annihilation (1997, starringBrian Thompson. He then served as art director onLegionnaire (1998). Schroeder moved on to illustration, beginning as a storyboard artist for the 2000 TV movieGeppetto, which starredStar Trek: The Next Generation'sBrent Spiner andStar Trek: Deep Space Nine'sRené Auberjonois.
Among Schroeder's film illustration credits areX-Men (2000),X2 (2003), andX-Men: The Last Stand (2006). All three of the films starredPatrick Stewart,Famke Janssen andRebecca Romijn; the first two were directed byBryan Singer and also featuredBruce Davison, while the latter co-starredKelsey Grammer. Schroeder also worked on the twoPirates of the Caribbean sequels, 2006'sDead Man's Chest and 2007'sAt World's End. Both films featuredLee Arenberg.
Schroeder has worked with directorMichael Bay onAli (2001, starringJon Voight, featuringLeVar Burton,Michael Dorn,Joe Morton,Ted Levine,Albert Hall, andBruce McGill) andThe Island (2005, featuringEthan Phillips).
