Memory Alpha:Content policy
This page documents one of Memory Alpha'spolicies. | |
The standards and practices described below are widely accepted and should not be substantively changed without consensus. If you have any questions, suggestions, or complaints, please post them on thetalk page. |
The goal of Memory Alpha is to be the "most definitive, accurate, and accessible encyclopedia and reference" for theStar Trek universe and its associated material. Towards this end, it was necessary to form a consensus about what material should be considered in-universe, and what material should be considered supplementary. Ultimately, this will ensure that Memory Alpha remains useful and authoritative for the widest possible range of fans.
This policy is not intended to mandate what your personal views should be, only what will be considered in-universe on the site.
