Chris Obi (born24 September1970; age 54) is the actor who playedT'Kuvma in the first two episodes ofStar Trek: Discovery, "The Vulcan Hello" and "Battle at the Binary Stars".
His costume was sold off on theProp StoreStar Trek: Discovery online auction inSeptember 2021.[1].
He appeared, among others, in an episode ofDoctor Who, the TV mini-seriesState of Play,Snow White and the Huntsman (2012, starringChris Hemsworth) andRoots. He also appeared as Mr. Jacquel / Anubis inAmerican Gods (created byBryan Fuller) and the feature filmGhost in the Shell. He also appeared in a short movie calledRomulus in 2013.
