Starfleet Academy[]

Ramsey was best friends withBeckett Mariner back atStarfleet Academy. The two of them got to a lot of mischief, such asstealingProfessorRubichik's old specialcar and driving it intothe bay.

Starfleet career[]

By2380, Ramsey served as thecommanding officer of theUSSOakland. By that time, her ship and crew encountered fourBorgdrones whichLieutenantDurga was able to fight off with some "Vulcan jujitsu."

Onstardate 57752.6, Ramsey was temporarily transferred to command theUSSCerritos. CaptainFreeman had been selected for a mission to thePisepian agricultural colony in disputed territory, and Ramsey assumed command in her absence. She was accompanied by Lieutenants Durga,Ottessa Warren, andDrew Prachett. During her command aboard theCerritos, Ramsey got reacquainted with Mariner, who was serving aboard the Cerritos as anensign. Ramsey made Mariner her actingfirst officer. Ramsey led the away mission toKhwopa, where she and the away team, including Mariner, performed repairs on the inhabitants'water filtration system.

Afterwards, they reported to the rendezvous point with theUSSRubidoux, which had not arrived on schedule. They later discovered theRubidoux adrift in space. Captain Ramsey led an away team, and soon found CaptainDayton and her crew hiding in thecargo bay. It was later discovered theRubidoux had been invaded by aspace entity that fed on energy. Captain Ramsey and her away team were able to save Captain Dayton and her crew before the entity consumed the whole ship, resulting in the birth of a space vessel lifeform. Ramsey and theOakland came to the aid of theCerritos as it battled threeTexas-class starships, following a call for help from Mariner. Following their assistance destroying theUSSAledo, she attended the celebration party for all theCalifornia-class crews aboard theCerritos atDouglas Station.

After Mariner joined the celebration, Ramsey was speaking with CaptainCarol Freeman, and excused herself for the latter's reunion with her daughter. Afterwards, Ramsey led everyone in chanting "Cali-class". (LD: "The Stars At Night")
