| א וְאֵלֶּה הָיוּ בְּנֵי דָוִיד, אֲשֶׁר נוֹלַד-לוֹ בְּחֶבְרוֹן: הַבְּכוֹר אַמְנֹן, לַאֲחִינֹעַם הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִית, שֵׁנִי דָּנִיֵּאל, לַאֲבִיגַיִל הַכַּרְמְלִית. | 1 Now these were the sons of David, that were born unto him in Hebron: the first-born, Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess; |
| ב הַשְּׁלִשִׁי לְאַבְשָׁלוֹם בֶּן-מַעֲכָה, בַּת-תַּלְמַי מֶלֶךְ גְּשׁוּר; הָרְבִיעִי, אֲדֹנִיָּה בֶן-חַגִּית. | 2 the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; |
| ג הַחֲמִישִׁי שְׁפַטְיָה, לַאֲבִיטָל; הַשִּׁשִּׁי יִתְרְעָם, לְעֶגְלָה אִשְׁתּוֹ. | 3 the fifth, Shephatiah of Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife. |
| ד שִׁשָּׁה, נוֹלַד-לוֹ בְחֶבְרוֹן, וַיִּמְלָךְ-שָׁם, שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים וְשִׁשָּׁה חֳדָשִׁים; וּשְׁלֹשִׁים וְשָׁלוֹשׁ שָׁנָה, מָלַךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָם. {ס} | 4 Six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months; and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.{S} |
| ה וְאֵלֶּה נוּלְּדוּ-לוֹ, בִּירוּשָׁלָיִם: שִׁמְעָא וְשׁוֹבָב וְנָתָן וּשְׁלֹמֹה, אַרְבָּעָה, לְבַת-שׁוּעַ, בַּת-עַמִּיאֵל. | 5 And these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath-shua the daughter of Ammiel; |
| ו וְיִבְחָר וֶאֱלִישָׁמָע, וֶאֱלִיפָלֶט. | 6 and Ibhar, and Elishama, and Eliphelet; |
| ז וְנֹגַהּ וְנֶפֶג, וְיָפִיעַ. | 7 and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia; |
| ח וֶאֱלִישָׁמָע וְאֶלְיָדָע וֶאֱלִיפֶלֶט, תִּשְׁעָה. | 8 and Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine. |
| ט כֹּל, בְּנֵי דָוִיד--מִלְּבַד בְּנֵי-פִילַגְשִׁים, וְתָמָר אֲחוֹתָם. {פ} | 9 All these were the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister.{P} |
| י וּבֶן-שְׁלֹמֹה, רְחַבְעָם; אֲבִיָּה בְנוֹ אָסָא בְנוֹ, יְהוֹשָׁפָט בְּנוֹ. | 10 And Solomon's son was Rehoboam; Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son; |
| יא יוֹרָם בְּנוֹ אֲחַזְיָהוּ בְנוֹ, יוֹאָשׁ בְּנוֹ. | 11 Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son; |
| יב אֲמַצְיָהוּ בְנוֹ עֲזַרְיָה בְנוֹ, יוֹתָם בְּנוֹ. | 12 Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son; |
| יג אָחָז בְּנוֹ חִזְקִיָּהוּ בְנוֹ, מְנַשֶּׁה בְנוֹ. | 13 Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son; |
| יד אָמוֹן בְּנוֹ, יֹאשִׁיָּהוּ בְנוֹ. | 14 Amon his son, Josiah his son. |
| טו וּבְנֵי, יֹאשִׁיָּהוּ--הַבְּכוֹר יוֹחָנָן, הַשֵּׁנִי יְהוֹיָקִים; הַשְּׁלִשִׁי, צִדְקִיָּהוּ, הָרְבִיעִי, שַׁלּוּם. | 15 And the sons of Josiah: the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. |
| טז וּבְנֵי, יְהוֹיָקִים--יְכָנְיָה בְנוֹ, צִדְקִיָּה בְנוֹ. | 16 And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son. |
| יז וּבְנֵי יְכָנְיָה אַסִּר, שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל בְּנוֹ. | 17 And the sons of Jeconiah--the same is Assir--Shealtiel his son; |
| יח וּמַלְכִירָם וּפְדָיָה, וְשֶׁנְאַצַּר, יְקַמְיָה הוֹשָׁמָע, וּנְדַבְיָה. | 18 and Malchiram, and Pedaiah, and Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah. |
| יט וּבְנֵי פְדָיָה, זְרֻבָּבֶל וְשִׁמְעִי; וּבֶן-זְרֻבָּבֶל מְשֻׁלָּם וַחֲנַנְיָה, וּשְׁלֹמִית אֲחוֹתָם. | 19 And the sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel, and Shimei. And the sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam, and Hananiah; and Shelomith was their sister; |
| כ וַחֲשֻׁבָה וָאֹהֶל וּבֶרֶכְיָה וַחֲסַדְיָה, יוּשַׁב חֶסֶד--חָמֵשׁ. | 20 and Hashubah and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushabhesed, five. |
| כא וּבֶן-חֲנַנְיָה, פְּלַטְיָה וִישַׁעְיָה; בְּנֵי רְפָיָה בְּנֵי אַרְנָן, בְּנֵי עֹבַדְיָה בְּנֵי שְׁכַנְיָה. | 21 And the sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah, and Jeshaiah; the sons of [Jeshaiah]: Rephaiah; the sons of [Rephaiah]: Arnan; the sons of [Arnan]: Obadiah; the sons of [Obadiah]: Shecaniah. |
| כב וּבְנֵי שְׁכַנְיָה, שְׁמַעְיָה; וּבְנֵי שְׁמַעְיָה, חַטּוּשׁ וְיִגְאָל וּבָרִיחַ וּנְעַרְיָה וְשָׁפָט--שִׁשָּׁה. | 22 And the sons of Shecaniah: Shemaiah; and the sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six. |
| כג וּבֶן-נְעַרְיָה, אֶלְיוֹעֵינַי וְחִזְקִיָּה וְעַזְרִיקָם--שְׁלֹשָׁה. {ס} | 23 And the sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three.{S} |
| כד וּבְנֵי אֶלְיוֹעֵינַי, הודיוהוהוֹדַוְיָהוּ וְאֶלְיָשִׁיב וּפְלָיָה וְעַקּוּב וְיוֹחָנָן וּדְלָיָה וַעֲנָנִי--שִׁבְעָה. {ס} | 24 And the sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.{S} |
