Clostebol acetate (BAN; brand namesMacrobin,Steranabol,Alfa-Trofodermin, andMegagrisevit; also known as4-chlorotestosterone 17β-acetate (4-CLTA) or4-chloroandrost-4-en-17β-ol-3-one 17β-acetate) is asynthetic,injectedanabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) and aderivative oftestosterone that is marketed inGermany andItaly.[1][2][3] It is anandrogen ester – specifically, the C17βacetateester ofclostebol (4-chlorotestosterone) – and acts as aprodrug of clostebol in the body.[1][2][additional citation(s) needed] Clostebol acetate is administered viaintramuscular injection.[3][4]
