Our goal is to make clear, reliable, comprehensive, up-to-date education resources and information in the biomedical and related social sciences freely available to all people in the language of their choice, online and off. While we are working on resources for all people, we are particularly interested in developing material useful for those in low and middle income countries.
In November 2025, Canada lost itsmeasles elimination status, which it had maintained since 1998.[1] As a result, the region ofThe Americas (some 35 countries) has lost its elimination status.[2] The US has seen the most measles cases since 1992.[3] It may lose its elimination status in January 2026.[4]
Theglobal dengue epidemic resulted in more than 14 million cases and 9,000 deaths in 2024;[5] since the beginning of 2025, over 4.5 million dengue cases and more than 3,000 deaths have been reported across 103 countries.[6]
