Plantmare is a cozy gardening game in which you play a robot trying his luck as a florist in the city! Raise a variety of flowers to please impatient customers, and upgrade or decorate your shop as you go.

This game was created in the Godot Engine in about one month as a practise project, and is still partially in development. I am aware of a few small bugs as well as needed quality of life improvements, including a definitive end-state for the game.

Nonetheless, feedback on the core gameplay loop is appreciated! 

I have expansion ideas for this game, but unless players actually express a desire to get more out of it, I think the project currently fulfills its promise as a satisfying mini-game.

Controls and Hotkeys:

• Move left and right with A and D
• use your mouse to select plants or menu items
• [Space] for Plantshop
• [F] for Watering Can
• [Shift] for shop menu
• [Escape] for Pause Menu and options

Current issue report:

• Plants can be placed on the edge of a plant area and will flicker as a result. They can be picked up and moved again.
• Sometimes a plant will remain selected after being bought and placed, and can therefore be watered from across the room. Re-selecting the plant will fix this state.
• The browser version of the game will lag a lot the first time certain actions (destroying webs, buying plants, watering plants) are performed, making the start a bad experience in the browser. However, the game recovers itself generally and doesn't lag thereafter.
