Apple adds the Dynamic Island to every iPhone 15

That extra year was worth the wait.
The "Dynamic Island," the much-loved surprise announcement from last year, will be available on all fournew iPhone 15 models. The feature was confirmed to be standard on the devices during the2023 Apple Event.
Last year,Apple added the Dynamic Island to theiPhone 14 Pro. It was a nifty little pill-shaped widget near the top of the display that could change shape depending on user needs, like for displaying notifications. Now it's in everyiPhone 15 model, and even better, there are new features. Some examples Apple gave included the ability to track a flight before you board, or follow Major League Soccer games, whichApple has the streaming rights for.
