Synopsis for "Negative Exposure: Part Four"
Doctor Octavius explains to Jeff Haight that his mechanical arms are stored in a secure area of One Police Plaza. He persuades Jeff to reconcile with his girlfriend, Anna, so he can get close to the arms and use them again.
Jeff follows Doc Ock's advice and makes amends with Anna. She takes him to the evidence room where the arms are held in a vault. Jeff secretly attaches a device to the arms, allowing Doc Ock to mentally regain control over them. When the arms break free, Anna is accidentally injured.
Meanwhile, Peter Parker is taking a walk with Aunt May when he notices smoke rising from One Police Plaza. He makes up an excuse to leave and rushes off as Spider-Man. He confronts the Doc Ocks arms, leading to a short but intense battle. In the end, Spider-Man lies unconscious on the ground.
At Riker's Island, the prison director visits Doc Ock holding a shotgun, concerned about the arms' reappearance. However, the arms break through the walls, killing the director and setting Doc Ock free. While he continues to fight police officers, Spider-Man is still incapacited and Jeffrey Haight waits until he gets the pictures he so desperately wants to take.
Solicit Synopsis
- Will Doc Ock be successful in his brutal manipulation of naïve cameraman Jeff Brasi – Peter Parker’s main rival at the Bugle – or will the plan blow up in his face?
