Spider-Monkey was a spider monkey, and theEarth-8101 counterpart ofSpider-Man. Unlike his human counterpart, Spider-Monkey was more egotistical, naive, and a bit more accepting of the world around him. Spider-Monkey also had no problem with killing those who did not want to reform, as the justice system of his world said that if a villain did not reform, they had to be killed. Spider-Monkey was seen fighting againstDoctor Ooktavius, whoGibbon helped to defeat.[1] Spider-Monkey was later seen at Doctor Ooktavius' trial, and he was one of theApe-vengers who beat him to death after he refused to reform.[2]
When the spider-heroes from across the Multiverse became aware of the existence of the spider-hunter vampiricInheritors, Spider-Monkey jointed the so-calledSuperior Spider-Army assembled by theSuperior Spider-Man.[3] Spider-Monkey later moved toEarth-13 along with the rest of Otto's army to join abigger faction of spider-heroes gathered bySpider-UK.[4] When the Inheritors attacked Earth-13, Spider-Monkey was killed byJennix.[5]
Somehow returned to life, Spider-Monkey joined yet another assembly of Multiversal spider-heroes, theSpider Society founded bySpider-Man 2099. As a member of the Spider Society, Spider-Monkey participated in the chase forMiles Morales.[6] At one point he tackled Miles and this caused them to crash into Spider-Therapist's session.Attributes
