Synopsis for "Field of Honor"
TheBlack Widow uses her Widow's bite to shockTony's heart back into restarting, then retrieves his briefcase so that he can chase down theMandarin, who she is certain is behind all of his troubles. AtStark Solutions,Rhodes helpsHappy andPepper remove theEspionage Elite's bugs while the Black Widow calls theAvengers to request their aid. Tony arrives inRussia to find the local heroes comprising theWinter Guard in battle with an army of mercenaries. Iron Man explains his belief that the Mandarin is responsible and asks the Winter Guard to aid him, but they refuse to abandon Russia. Iron Man goes solo to the Mandarin's flying base, a dragon shaped facility called theDragon of Heaven, the result of his work inAustralia. Still groggy from his earlier beating, Iron Man is swallowed by the Dragon; inside it he faces the Mandarin, but the Mandarin captures him with a set of metal tendrils.
