Aña Corazón's parentsGil andSofía both worked atGalvanitics Research, one of the biggest energy research companies of its reality, on replicating energy signature of theTotem of Andrina^[1] using a sample of their daughter's blood which they obtained in secret from her. The research was too dangerous, so they kept Aña out of the loop of their work, despite knowing about her superhero identity. They knew that theChurch of Andrina was after them, but failed to keep them at bay were kidnapped in order to lure their daughter to them.^[2]

Aña showed up to rescue them not on her own, but withanother version of herself from adifferent reality. As soon as girls un-gagged their parents, they were informed that they have walked into a trap and were knocked-out with the sleeping gas.^[3] Both girls were restrained and theirSpider-Totem energies were used on theTotem of Andrina to open the portal from whichKrakinos came through. The girls managed to break out and one of them took the Totem out of its protective case. The portal's polarity was reversed and it began sucking everything back in. Krakinos was pushed back back through the portal, and his cultists followed through. Sofía and Gil were about to fall in as well, but thealternate version of their daughter caught them with her webs. The Totem of Andrina was destroyed, closing the portal behind them.^[2]
