Solicit Synopsis

When the Earth's teenaged twins begin turning up murdered, it is the first sign of an ancient Olympian prophecy come true, spelling the end not only for the Eternals, but for the Deviants and humanity as well!

Notes

  • This story contains a few continuity errors, including a reference in a flashback to how theUni-Mind, which had left Earth inAvengers #248, had returned briefly to destroy the Deviant priestlord Ghaur inEternals (Vol. 2) #12. In actuality, the Uni-Mind that defeated Ghaur was a different one than the Uni-Mind that had left for space.
    • Since those two Uni-Minds were different, how and why Ajak returned to Earth after he left for space as part of that first Uni-Mind was not actually revealed in this story.
  • In that same flashback, Phastos reminded the other Eternals of how the Celestials'Third Host had recently come to Earth. It was actually theFourth Host.
  • Yrdisis is depicted as being blue-skinned when her skin is actually green.
  • Thena's statement that her twins were conceived during the "so-calledVietnamese War" should be considered atopical reference as per theSliding Timescale ofEarth-616.
