oh my god I murdred that poor wo-VASE

Yep, definitely a vase, nothing suspicious to see here!

For the demo, I wish we got just a TINY bit more of the story. Just like one extra story interlude to know where we are going....

Aside from that: good game, well made, thanks heaps.

I'm not the biggest fan of puzzle games, but this is well made.

Nice one! The puzzles themselves are quite good too.

Purchased!

Accidentally stumbled upon this while looking for some tilesets for a "final fantasy tactics meets puzzler" project I'm working on.

Anyway.  I love all things sokoban-like, good concepts, will give a review!

Thank you very much for the praise and review!

Cool idea! I wish there was an undo button, cause I made quite a lot of silly mistakes, like moving 2 steps instead of 1 as I planned. I had to restart the level a lot 😅

Thanks! There is an undo button though, there's a button in the bottom left or you can press a Y/Z!

Very fun little game. I like how the puzzles can feel difficult to solve at first, and it might take a while to find the solution. But once you do, you realize that it's a much simpler and more elegant solution than it seemed at first. That gives a more satisfying "Aha!" moment, which I like very much.

Thanks a lot! That's exactly what I aimed for with the puzzle design, glad it worked.

Just curious what is the diff between 1 and 2? And for a new player which one should I start on

Hi, definitely start with 2, it's overall a much better experience in all aspects and you don't need to know anything about 1 at all.

In more detail:
Sokobos 2 has more focused puzzles. Smaller levels, more about specific ideas and interactions, requires much less moves to finish a level. Better polish, animations and controls.

Sokobos 1 is more focused on larger levels that overwhelm you, with a lot of things in, often requiring too many specific steps to solve a level. It's more of an old school Sokoban design from the early days. Also no cart, sinking/floating objects nor water streams that move objects.

The cart/bin is a clever mechanic and not something I remember ever seeing before. And the puzzles are well designed. The intro and overal design of the game are great as well, what more can I say. If I didn't have to watch my spending it would be an instant buy, for now I can only wishlist.

Also the old lady had some gold but not that much! Waste of a good ice block honestly.

Thanks a lot!

I totally understand! It will go on sale, so it's a good thing you put it on your wishlist. Get it only when you can afford it!

True, what a greedy old lady, should have given you more gold. >:(

Awesome game! Great work!

I loved all the puzzles. Sadly, I can't buy the full game right now, but I just added it to my wishlist. This is a game I definitely want to play more. Playing the demo was such a good experience. Nice job!

Thanks a lot! The game will go on sale, so it's good you put it in your wishlist! I hope you have a great time with the full version when you have the chance to play it.

I'm Robilink i help indie devs get more wishlist and players. I noticed your game and i have 2 quick ideas that could help your store page convert more viewer into wishlist. Want me to Dm there or send via Gmail!

I feel like the bottom path was meant to be completed last, but I completed it first, and then completed the other two paths expecting something. would recommend a progression blocker to help with pacing in the full game.

There's no right order for the branching paths. Each path just has a different purpose. The top path is meant to test your understanding of the basic mechanics. The bottom path introduces the ice mechanic and the middle path introduces more advanced water mechanics.

It's a nice puzzle game. The rule is simple but it requires prudence and insight to find a solution.

I'm glad to receive such praise, thank you!

Such an fun, well polished game!

Omg, what a great game. Sound, graphics, game play, you nailed it. The last level was challenging yet i persisted and solved it! Now i want more..

That's awesome to hear, thanks!

The full version is available on Steam. You can get it right now or add it to your wishlist and you'll get notified when it goes on sale!

which last level was it? (branching paths allow multiple orders)

What a great sokoban game!! The way the story is framed with the tavern chats is really great too. It's a very polished and pleasant game. Definitely pushed me to check it out on Steam!

Thanks a lot! If you end getting around to the full version, I hope you have a great time with it.

IM SORRY OLD LADY !!

Don't think that'll change what you did... :(

thank you for allowing me to feel that regret though, it was genuine

You're welcome!

Amazin concept! whishlisted it for sure!

Some things cannot be undone.

Very fun sokoban type game. My only minor nitpick is that the movement felt a bit slower than what i would have liked.

Otherwise a great polished experience!

Thanks a lot!

The HTML5 demo is locked to 90 FPS, might even run slower based on your specs. If you end up checking the full version on Steam, you can increase the FPS even higher.

If the movement speed is fps based it's definitely my potato laptop :D
Thankfully it was perfectly playable as is

Very clever, and I’ve enjoyed the first few levels :)
