The story is about the protagonist (MC) learning to be independent and to trust her own instincts. But depending on the route that you are on, you will need to make choices based on different logics. The true ending of the story is actually in Viktor's route, in which the MC ends up with Viktor, and nobody, including the MC's classmate, Valerie, gets hurt. And even though Mr. Barrett, the gardener, would still get infected, he at least doesn't get killed by the MC.

• Michael's Route: Michael likes a “damsel" and likes to be the hero. So on this route most choices require that you choose to need his help. Another pivotal choice that the MC needs to make is to ignore her parents' fight. There are two endings to Michael's route that are relatively “good": The first does not contain a romantic scene, but everyone in the MC's circle of family and friends are saved. The second contains a romantic scene with Michael, but in this ending, only the MC and Michael make it out uninfected. To get to the romantic ending, the MC will choose to confront Theo towards the end of the story, and uncover the secret he has been hiding.
• Viktor's Route: To get on Viktor's route, the MC needs to choose to embrace her instincts and speak out. To get to the “good" endings, the MC needs to choose to accept the supplement from the nurse. While it will only be helpful for a while, it would buy her time to suppress the effects of her infection until Viktor arrives. Afterwards, all choices are based on the MC's feelings about Viktor, and the endings vary based on the amount of affection the MC shows.
