wmemcmp(3) Library Functions Manualwmemcmp(3)wmemcmp - compare two arrays of wide-characters
Standard C library (libc,-lc)
#include <wchar.h>int wmemcmp(size_t n;const wchar_ts1[n], const wchar_ts2[n], size_tn);
Thewmemcmp() function is the wide-character equivalent of thememcmp(3) function. It compares then wide-characters starting ats1 and then wide-characters starting ats2.
Thewmemcmp() function returns zero if the wide-character arrays of sizen ats1 ands2 are equal. It returns an integer greater than zero if at the first differing positioni (i <n), the corresponding wide-characters1[i] is greater thans2[i]. It returns an integer less than zero if at the first differing positioni (i <n), the corresponding wide-characters1[i] is less thans2[i].
For an explanation of the terms used in this section, seeattributes(7). ┌──────────────────────────────────────┬───────────────┬─────────┐ │Interface│Attribute│Value│ ├──────────────────────────────────────┼───────────────┼─────────┤ │wmemcmp() │ Thread safety │ MT-Safe │ └──────────────────────────────────────┴───────────────┴─────────┘
