vdprintf, vfprintf, vprintf, vsnprintf, vsprintf — format output of a stdarg argument list
#include <stdarg.h> #include <stdio.h> int vdprintf(intfildes, const char *restrictformat, va_listap); int vfprintf(FILE *restrictstream, const char *restrictformat, va_listap); int vprintf(const char *restrictformat, va_listap); int vsnprintf(char *restricts, size_tn, const char *restrictformat, va_listap); int vsprintf(char *restricts, const char *restrictformat, va_listap);
The functionality described on this reference page is aligned with the ISO C standard. Any conflict between the requirements described here and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This volume of POSIX.1‐2017 defers to the ISO C standard. Thevdprintf(),vfprintf(),vprintf(),vsnprintf(), andvsprintf() functions shall be equivalent to thedprintf(),fprintf(),printf(),snprintf(), andsprintf() functions respectively, except that instead of being called with a variable number of arguments, they are called with an argument list as defined by<stdarg.h>. These functions shall not invoke theva_end macro. As these functions invoke theva_arg macro, the value ofap after the return is unspecified.
Refer tofprintf(3p).

None.
Applications using these functions should callva_end(ap) afterwards to clean up.
