Ifwc is a wide character, then thetowctrans() function translates it according to the transliteration descriptordesc. Ifwc isWEOF,WEOFis returned.desc must be a transliteration descriptor returned by thewctrans(3) function.
Thetowctrans() function returns the translated wide character, orWEOFifwc isWEOF.
