       strchr — string scanning operation

SYNOPSIS        top

       #include <string.h>       char *strchr(const char *s, intc);

DESCRIPTION        top

       The functionality described on this reference page is aligned with       the ISO C standard. Any conflict between the requirements       described here and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This       volume of POSIX.1‐2017 defers to the ISO C standard.       Thestrchr() function shall locate the first occurrence ofc       (converted to achar) in the string pointed to bys.  The       terminating NUL character is considered to be part of the string.

RETURN VALUE        top

       Upon completion,strchr() shall return a pointer to the byte, or a       null pointer if the byte was not found.
