Stop Spam Mail with Free Mailgw Account
Mailgw provides a free anti-spam-mail service to help you take control over your email. With your Mailgw account,you can give out a separate email address to every company which asks you for one. For example, if your Mailgw accountname is 'dave' and you buy a book from amazon.com, you could give the following email address to Amazon:
dave.amazon@mailgw.com
Mail sent to this address will forward to your current email account. Giving a separate email address for eachpurchase will help you track which companies are selling their email addresses to marketers. If you start receivingspam on a particular address, you can disable it with a click and you know who to blame.
Getting Started
Click onCreate Free Account. After you have created and confirmed youraccount, you can click on "Add New Address" to generate an email address for a company you are dealing with or apurchase you are making.
Please Note
- I in no way want this system to be used as an anonymous mail shield for spammers, stalkers, or any inappropriatebehavior. You will have your account disabledimmediately if this occurs.
- Although Mailgw has been a free service since October 2000, we do have hosting and and other operational expenses.I may start providing free versus "pro" services to encourge folks to pay some small yearly fee.

- You probably don't knowme but I promise to doeverything in mypower to stop any authority or business entity from getting a hold of the email addresses stored on my system. Send memail if you have specific questions about this.
